Terms of Service

Effective date: April 13, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FlyerWall, a community classifieds and auction platform available at flyerwall.app, operated by WebQ9.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.

2. The Service

FlyerWall lets you:

  • Create and join local communities.
  • Post classified flyers with images, categories, and contact details.
  • Create auctions for items with bids, proxy bidding, and buy-now options.
  • Browse and search flyers across communities.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with 30 days' notice for core functionality.

3. Accounts & Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us at support@webq9.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Content & Listings

  • You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant FlyerWall a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
  • You must not post illegal items, counterfeit goods, weapons, drugs, or stolen property.
  • You must not post misleading or fraudulent listings.
  • FlyerWall may remove content that violates these Terms or community guidelines without notice.
  • Images must be your own or you must have the right to use them. Maximum 5 images (5 MB each).

5. Auction Terms

5.1 Binding bids

Placing a bid constitutes a binding offer to purchase the item at that price. You may not retract a bid except where the listing description was materially changed after your bid.

5.2 Proxy bidding

If you set a proxy (automatic) bid, the system will bid on your behalf up to your maximum amount. Proxy bids are binding.

5.3 Shill bidding

Bidding on your own auction, or arranging for others to bid to artificially inflate the price, is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.

5.4 Auto-extension

If a bid is placed in the final minutes of an auction, the end time may be automatically extended (up to 3 extensions of 5 minutes each) to allow competing bids.

5.5 Completion

When an auction ends, the highest bidder and seller are obligated to complete the transaction. FlyerWall facilitates the listing and bidding but is not a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller.

5.6 Reserve price

If a seller sets a reserve price and the highest bid does not meet it, the seller is not obligated to sell.

6. Fees & Payments

  • Basic listing and browsing is free.
  • Featured listing placements may incur a fee.
  • Successful auctions may incur a commission fee (percentage of final sale price).
  • All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
  • Prices are displayed in the auction's currency. VAT/tax obligations are the responsibility of the seller.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Spam, unsolicited advertising, or automated posting.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or threatening behaviour.
  • Impersonation of other users or organisations.
  • Attempting to bypass platform security or RLS policies.
  • Scraping or automated data collection without permission.
  • Shill bidding or auction manipulation.

8. Limitation of Liability

FlyerWall is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions between users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebQ9 is not liable for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
  • The accuracy of listing descriptions.
  • The ability of sellers to sell or buyers to pay.
  • Any disputes between users.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your listings will be removed but auction records may be retained for legal compliance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
